Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 1, 2026
Real Estate Media Operations ("REMO," "we," "our," or "us") operates remo-app.com, app.remo-app.com, and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to:
- Visitors to remo-app.com, including people who request access by email
- People who create REMO accounts and use a workspace
- Clients and other individuals whose information a workspace puts into REMO, including through public booking, delivery, or upload pages
For account, billing, and marketing-site requests, REMO decides how that information is used. For a workspace's jobs, clients, team activity, and media, we process that information to provide the software to the workspace. If you are a client of a media company that uses REMO, that company is usually the right first contact for questions about your booking or files.
2. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information from your Google account.
Access requests
If you request access on remo-app.com, we collect the email address you submit and send it to our support inbox so we can respond.
Workspace, job, and property data
Workspaces store operational data such as team membership and roles, service catalogs and pricing, schedules, messages, and job history. Jobs commonly include property addresses and details, service selections, appointment times, client names, email addresses, and phone numbers.
Media
We store photographs, video, and related files that a workspace uploads or receives through the services, including public upload and delivery links.
Payment information
Stripe processes payments to REMO for subscriptions and credits. A workspace may also connect Stripe or Square to collect payment from its clients. We receive billing metadata such as customer id, plan, and payment status. We do not store complete payment card numbers.
Location-related information
We use Mapbox to geocode property addresses and to show maps. A workspace may also store service areas and team location information used for scheduling and operations.
Usage and device information
We collect information about how the services are used, including pages and features, timestamps, device type, operating system, and browser type. On remo-app.com, Google Analytics also receives standard usage data from the browser.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, secure, and improve the services
- Create and manage accounts and workspaces
- Process subscriptions, credits, and related billing
- Send transactional email such as invites, receipts, and job notices
- Respond to access requests and support questions
- Operate optional AI editing and other automated features a workspace turns on
- Diagnose errors and understand how the product is used
- Detect and prevent fraud or unauthorized access
- Send marketing communications when you have agreed to receive them
- Comply with law
We do not use REMO to match you with photographers or other media labor that we supply. Assignment of jobs inside a workspace is that workspace's staffing, not a REMO marketplace.
4. How we share information
We share information with:
- The workspace that collected it. Team members see job, client, and media data according to the roles that workspace assigns. Clients see what that workspace shares with them, such as booking confirmations or delivery links.
- Vendors that help us run REMO. These currently include Convex for the database and application backend; Google for sign-in and for analytics on remo-app.com; Cloudflare for the marketing site and for R2 object storage; Vercel for the application, custom domains, and usage analytics on the app; Stripe for REMO billing; Resend for email; Mapbox for maps and geocoding; and Sentry for error monitoring and session replay.
- Optional connections a workspace turns on. A workspace may connect Dropbox for media, Square for its own client payments, Slack for notifications and an in-Slack assistant, and AI editing providers (including Autoenhance and AutoHDR) to process photographs. The Slack assistant may send relevant workspace text to Anthropic to generate replies. Those vendors receive only what is needed for the connected feature.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and safety.
- Business transfers. If we merge, are acquired, or sell assets, information may transfer to the successor.
We do not sell personal information.
5. AI and media processing
If a workspace uses AI editing or similar tools, photographs and related instructions are sent to the editing provider the workspace selected so the feature can run. If a workspace uses the Slack assistant, message content needed to answer may be sent to Anthropic.
We do not use customer media to train our own public models. Vendors process that content under their terms and ours with them. You should review those terms if you rely on a connected feature.
6. Cookies, analytics, and session replay
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand usage. remo-app.com uses Google Analytics. The application uses Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights. You can control cookies in your browser. Some features will not work without them.
On the application we use Sentry session replay to diagnose errors. Replay records a sample of sessions and a higher share of sessions that hit an error. Text, form inputs, and media in those recordings are masked.
7. Data security and retention
We use technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
We keep information for as long as an account or workspace needs the services, and longer when we must for legal, billing, or security reasons. If a workspace is deleted, it may remain recoverable for a limited period shown in the product, then be permanently removed.
Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our vendors operate.
8. Your rights and choices
Subject to law and to what we can identify, you may:
- Ask for a copy of personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Ask us to delete information, subject to legal and operational limits
- Unsubscribe from marketing email at any time
- Ask for a portable copy of information you provided
Write support@remo-app.com. If you are a client of a workspace, start with that company. We may need to refer the request to them when they control the data.
9. Children
The services are for adults. You must be at least 18 to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the new policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after that date is acceptance of the updated policy.
